5 ways with a can of beans

Ingredients

  • 2 thick slices bread or English muffins, halved, toasted
  • 2 tbsp soft salted butter
  • 1 tbsp any oil
  • 1 x 60g pack Bellota chorizo pieces (Waitrose)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 x 400g can beans
  • 2-3 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Method

  • Heat a small pan and add the oil, chorizo and onion.
  • Cook over a low heat for 10 minutes so the oils and paprika are released.
  • Add the beans and warm through, finally add the parsley and serve on buttered toast or muffins.
