Simple Summer Fruit Jelly With White Wine And Blueberries

Simple Summer Fruit Jelly With White Wine And Blueberries

Ingredients

  • 275ml (½ pint) Bereich Niersteiner Sp_tlese
  • 1 packet raspberry jelly
  • 275g fresh blueberries
  • 275ml fresh orange juice
  • ½ ripe melon, cut into small cubes
  • 250g fresh raspberries

Method

  1. Place the jelly cubes into a bowl.
  2. Heat the wine until just boiling then pour over the jelly, dissolve well.
  3. Add the orange juice and mix well.
  4. Cool until just warm.
  5. Place the fruit evenly into 4 individual glasses or a large bowl.
  6. Pour over the jelly, then really chill well.
  7. Serve, when chilled.

This jelly is a lighter version, so will be just set, suspending the fruit.

Wine is a great way to jazz up a jelly rather than water.

Any Summer fruit will be fine.

Always make up the liquid to the proper measurement.
