Bonfire Sausage Sauce

A rich spicy tummy warming bonfire sauce.

Ingredients

  • 225 mls Tomato ketchup
  • 125 mls Cold water
  • 2 tbsp Worcester sauce
  • 55g Soft brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Mustard powder
  • 25g Runny honey
  • 3 tbsp Malt vinegar
  • 1 tsp Cajun spice
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 2 Pinches chopped chilli

Method

  1. Place everything in a saucepan and bring to the boil, turn down the heat and simmer gently for 2 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
  2. Re season and serve hot or cold.
